Ian Greenleigh is a technology writer with 15 years of experience in SaaS and startup marketing. He is the author of The Social Media Side Door (McGraw Hill), and has been quoted, published, and profiled in outlets including Harvard Business Review, Quartz, Ad Age, Adweek, Digiday, and Poynter. As a public speaker, Greenleigh has presented at South by Southwest, National Institute for Computer Assisted Reporting, &Then, The CMO Club, and many other conferences. In 2018 Greenleigh co-created DataPractices.org, now an official Linux Foundation Project. Since joining 1E, he has led three research initiatives to create new knowledge in the Digital Employee Experience category, including Digital Employee Experience (DEX) in the Enterprise: Progress, Patterns, and Gaps, Employee Productivity Surveillance Technology Survey, and What Do IT Leaders Want From AI? Greenleigh is a Bay Area native who lives in Austin, TX.
