While 1E has hit several milestones and achievements this year, I'd like to focus on the most recent one: the DEX Connect Summit we wrapped up last week in Austin, Texas. Over two days, 1E hosted insightful sessions and engaged in valuable discussions with customers, prospects, and partners. We also had the opportunity to share a glimpse of Austin's unique culture with attendees. With such a diverse audience, we gained a wide range of perspectives on digital workplace strategies and the importance of a DEX platform in various environments. To recap the event, I'd like to highlight a few favorite moments.

Hearing from a DEXpert

Gartner's Dan Wilson, VP Analyst, attended the event and shared his expertise on Day one. He began his session by defining digital employee experience (DEX), expanding on the top strategies for improving DEX, and sharing why it’s a critical focus area for many organizations. It's  important to understand that most organizations are at different points in their DEX maturity. While some may be just beginning their DEX journey, others could be well into it, with fifteen or more years of progress behind them. Regardless of where an organization stands, there are always opportunities to continue evolving and improving.

It was also a highlight to hear Dan present the inaugural Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for DEX Management Tools and Critical Capabilities. As a co-author of the report, Dan was able to share his perspective and what classified a leader, visionary, niche player, etc. If you haven't already, be sure to download a complimentary copy and check out the Magic Quadrant here. You'll gain even more valuable insights from the expert himself and learn why 1E is a Leader.

Interactive sessions for the win

What would you argue is more valuable: gaining customer feedback and insights or diving into their goals and current digital workplace initiatives? Trick question! Why prioritize one when you could have both? We held multiple sessions that gave us the opportunity to hear from our customers on both throughout the summit.

I'd first like to highlight our roundtable discussion with two current customers, where we got to hear about their roles, goals, initiatives, and experience with 1E. They were also able to hear from, interact with, and answer questions around the room from other attendees looking to continue transforming their DEX. It's always good to hear from current customers, and this was no different!

Another portion that stole the show happened to be our breakout session. Attendees split into groups and, with the guidance of 1E moderators, took charge of what they wanted to discuss. Each table decided to take a different approach, but there were solid discussions varying from how they’re using the 1E platform, how they’d like to be using it, being proactive versus reactive, product automations, operational efficiency, and more. Ultimately, these types of discussions are what help enhance digital workplaces and DEX.

Experience the city and exciting announcements

Not many can say they've heard classic honky-tonk tunes live while trying some Texas barbecue, but our attendees can! Day one of the DEX Connect Summit ended in downtown Austin, with some of the best music in the city and some of the finest brisket in Texas.

We wrapped up the event with an exciting announcement—the 1E Community is finally here! We can’t wait to continue the discussion that started at the DEX Connect Summit. If you’d like more information on the community, please reach out to your account team today.

All in all, it was an insightful and eventful time, and we hope our attendees agree. Same time next year?
