Steve Klos will giving a joint presentation with IBM at the IBM InterConnect conference at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Wednesday February 25.
The presentation will cover the reasons why authoritative software identification is critical to the enterprise and how IBM has risen to the challenge to provide SWID tags in all software it provides to the market. It will also cover specific details of how larger enterprises with more complex software environments can utilize SWID tag data to identify relationships between software products and physical, or virtual systems. The presenters will cover details of how SWID tags fit into the goals of a CxO and provide solutions to some of the more vexing problems of IT management today. Finally, the presenters will touch on the details of what the US Government is doing to integrate SWID tags into their approach to software and system security.
If you will be at the conference, send us a note at info@1e.com and let us know, we would be happy to setup some time for you to talk to Steve one-on-one about your IT issues and how SWID tags can help your enterprise. He would also be happy to discuss how you can utilize SWID tags today through the use of the freely available SWID tag repository.
