What is WFA?

Work From Anywhere (WFA) is a virtual conference series, introduced by us at 1E during 2020 in response to we had conducted. The overarching feedback from respondents was that IT processes and employee devices were running slower following the pandemic-induced mass move to remote working. It was clear that many organizations weren’t equipped for this move, and we wanted to create a space for IT professionals to learn more, network, and explore the future of working together.
‘Responding to the pandemic’
The first conference ran in July 2020 and spanned two days. It addressed the newly (almost) unanimous need for remote working and helped IT organizations adapt to employees working from anywhere. It featured a host of speakers from Forrester, NTT Data, Microsoft, and more. Learn more about the July 2020 conference and watch on-demand replays of the sessions here.
‘What’s next?’
The second WFA virtual conference took place in November 2020 and – following the discussions of July’s conference and the best part of a year spent working remotely – explored what was next for the future of work. Again, this event took place over two days, and saw expert speakers from Forrester, NTT Data, ServiceNow, and Microsoft MVPs take the virtual stage. ‘Preparing for long term hybrid working’
This time round, WFA is focused on Hybrid Working. We’ve also made some other changes, designing all sessions in a sprint format to evade ‘Zoom fatigue’ whilst encouraging high-energy conversations and providing valuable content in only half a day. But just because we’ve adopted a new sprint approach to the sessions, that doesn’t mean we’ve sacrificed any of the value! As before, our line-up is filled with digital workplace experts. Check out March 2021’s speakers here.

Why Attend WFA ’21?

Now, it may seem like our November event was just yesterday, but we think you’ll agree that the world has changed drastically in the last four months – especially when it comes to hybrid working. WFA ’21 is not only a more concise half-day event, but it’s agenda is also filled with valuable insights and actionable takeaways for supporting a long-term hybrid workplace. Find out more about why the theme of ‘hybrid working’ makes this event one not to be missed!

We could talk all day about the reasons you should attend, but with 83% of organizations planning for long-term hybrid working, it’s clear the future presents new challenges and opportunities for IT leaders.
