We are proud to announce the release of our latest Nomad update. This new version has a modernized backend infrastructure that leverages the Tachyon Platform and 1E Client, as well as 1E Content Distribution.

In Nomad 7.1, the back-end server has been replaced by Tachyon to provide several great new features such as Single-Site download, Pre-caching, and a new Dashboard. For customers moving to Modern Management, Nomad 7.1 now provides visibility and control of Delivery Optimization, which is used by Intune, MS store, and MS update.

Nomad 7.1 clients can now also connect to Tachyon Response Stack components (Switch and Background Channel) which act as a proxy for Content Distribution. Legacy clients can continue to connect directly to Content Distribution.
